Doing Business in Poland
On 25th September, CEBN held a successful “Doing Business in Poland” seminar at DLA Piper’s Leeds office. Representatives from over 30 local businesses attended to hear presentations by Krzysztof Trepczynski, Head of the Economic and Commercial section of the Polish Embassy and Monika Poteraj from DLA Piper’s Warsaw office. The event was opened by the Leader of the Council, Cllr Richard Brett. He said, “Leeds City Council is delighted to be able to use its links with partners throughout the central and eastern European region to facilitate the work of CEBN and provide valuable contacts for making links.
I look forward to seeing the mutual benefits of increased trade between our region and Poland and hope that Leeds will develop even closer links with Poland in the future.”

The Czech Ambassador to the UK, Jan Winkler, was keynote speaker at a seminar hosted by international law firm DLA Piper this week (16 July) aimed at providing practical advice on developing business opportunities in the Czech Republic.
